5th & 6th Six Weeks
With our program Texas ScienceFusion, we are reviewing all we have learned this year.

I have broken the terms up into six weeks. You can "star" words you want to work on instead of using the whole list.
Our GOAL is to send 5th graders to middle school that have performed at grade level. I have created a series of mini-assessments for each topic we have covered in science this year to help me determine each students' strengths and weaknesses are. Students will keep this in their composition book.
If your child has not met the goal for a specific topic, I am assigning 40 minutes of home study time a week (all at once or, preferably, broken up into 10-20 minute sessions a week). Please have your child check in and out with you prior to obtaining the parent signature.
It would be great if you or a sibling has the time to ask them questions, but I have several online options too. On my website – under the tab “STAAR Readiness” there are powerpoints of bootcamps (great questions, with the answer to follow), Quizlet (above), Online digital textbook lessons through Clever and ThinkCentral, Moby Max science, and the TEA website has released science Staar test and answer keys (tea.texas.gov/student.assessment/STAAR_Released_Test_Questions/.)
We also have all of our work in our composition book to use to study.
